6-month-old member is doing well–Praise God!

Six-month-old Samaritan member Nathanael Wayne M. has been suffering from bacterial meningitis, but thanks to prayer and his doctors, he is getting well!
Nathanael had been in a medically induced sleep, was given medications, and had a breathing tube put in after being taken to the hospital August 18.
Yesterday, mom Bonnie reported:
Around 6:00 p.m. Nathanael’s breathing tube was taken out! He began to cry ( though very quietly because of his sore, and swollen throat) he coughed, he swallowed his own saliva, he needed no oxygen assistance at all and his O2 stats have stayed at 95-100!!! YOU ARE AMAZING GOD! …Spoke with Neurologist this evening who says that Nathanael’s MRI looks as good as anything he could have expected at this stage of recovery. To make a long update short he says that by everything he sees so far he is “guardedly optimistic!” for a good neurological recovery for our precious boy!!
Bonnie was able to hold her baby in her arms against for the first time in five days. As any parent knows, that’s an awfully long time not to be able to hold your baby.
We’re grateful for answered prayer and join in the family’s praise and gratitude to God. Please pray for continued recovery for Nathanael and no lasting effects from the illness.
