2025 events at the Grovestead

The Groves family uses events throughout the year to spread what they and others have learned about a family economy. Here are their 2025 events, with details and RSVPs at gatherandgrow.us/events.

Farm & Family Fair: May 23-24

“For two days we basically turn our farm into an old-fashioned county fair.” Families will demonstrate traditional crafts. There will also be “practical inspiration to get your own family economy up and running.” Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.

Homestead Summit: July 4-5

“Two packed days of hands-on workshops centered on the agrarian life” will address sustainable gardening, raising livestock, butchering, medicinal herbs, soapmaking, and canning and fermenting methods.” Cost is $125 per person.

Grovestead Gathering: Aug. 29-30

This year’s annual conference on the family economy will focus on “Faithful Generations.” Kevin Swanson of Generations Ministries will be the keynote speaker. Pricing will be on the website at gatherandgrow.us/events.
