Noteworthy: Resources

For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.

(2 Corinthians 10: 3-5)

As followers of Jesus Christ, we have resources for facing the challenges of life that unbelievers do not have and can’t even imagine. We should not put our faith primarily in the same things they trust in. That includes how we handle our health care.

When we face challenges that exceed our own strength, resources, and influence, the passage above tells us we can fight all of our battles in life with power that exceeds our own. When words from those around us, our own inner fears, or doubts from our enemy tempt us to doubt whether God will meet our needs or give us enough strength and wisdom, we can destroy those doubts and arguments with divine power using the weapons that He provides.
