How Health Care Sharing Works

A medical need arises

There are no network restrictions. Choose the doctor, hospital and pharmacy that works best for you and your family.

The need is shared

Medical bills are sent to Samaritan Ministries, and we notify members to pray and send money for your shareable bills.

Your bills get paid

The money received is used to pay your medical bills and you enjoy encouraging messages from other members.

Kelsie considered herself a healthy person. It didn’t cross her mind that she would be diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 27. She set a goal to walk 100 miles throughout the course of her treatment. Hers is a story of faith and perseverance.

Beautiful Chaos

Courtney was 17 weeks pregnant when she and husband Gregg learned their son had a heart condition requiring multiple surgeries. Shepherd's first surgery was at seven days old and a second at four and a half months. Gregg and Courtney are thankful for God’s faithfulness and embrace the beautiful chaos as they raise four children, with Shepherd leading the charge.
